Meaning for Visual Studio 2008, you're probably using Crystal Reports Version 10.5 or 12

I'm trying to figure out what version of Crystal Reports I have. It's the one that comes in Visual Studio 2008. Does anyone know what it is or how can I check?

Ok, so I got it done by making an extra line and using a different line for the header and the details section.  It makes it a little harder to maintain, but looks better.

I'm using Crystal Reports for VS 2008 and having trouble formatting vertical table lines in the details section.

**Too Short**

When I adjust the height of the line to exactly the height of the bottom of the section:

Then the line doesn't get applied to any items after the first in the list:

**Too Long**

If I drag it past the bottom of that section, then it runs amok and fills up the entire page

**Failed Attempts**

I've tried a bunch of different section and line heights.  I've tried right clicking the line, clicking format object, and checking 'Extend to bottom of Section when Printing'.

Formatting Vertical Details Lines in Crystal Reports

I have a subreport contained inside of a parent report that I would like to be able to re-use it inside of another report.

Some seemingly viable options according to [copy and paste subreport within the main report][1] include:

* Saving as standalone subreport and linking across both parent reports
* Exporting from one file and importing into another
* Copying and pasting

However, none of these operations seem to work from the Visual Studio Crystal Reports Designer

# Here's what I've tried so far...

### No option to saving as a standalone report ❌

With the subreport selected, here's what I get in the File Menu (there should be an option to "Save *Subreport* As"

Maybe this just isn't supported in the Visual Studio Designer?

I'm using Visual Studio 2017 (v15.9.11) and Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 13.0.24
